Sea Screamer Clearwater Dolphin Speedboat Tour: Reviews, Prices & What to Expect
Contact Info
The Short Answer
Sea Screamer is a 73-foot speedboat that runs 1-hour dolphin tours from Clearwater Beach Marina, starting around $40. It rates about 4.9 stars from 400+ reviews on Viator, dolphin sightings are guaranteed, and tours leave daily at 10 am, noon, 2 pm and 4 pm.
Sea Screamer is the fast option for dolphin watching in Clearwater. At more than 20 knots, it covers more of the Gulf than the slow sightseeing boats, and the dolphins like to swim and jump in its wake.
What People Love
- The speed. Reviewers love the thrill of the ride as much as the dolphins.
- Dolphins in the wake. Sightings are guaranteed, and dolphins often play right behind the boat.
- Great for families. A stable, Coast Guard-inspected boat with two bathrooms and a crew trained in first aid and CPR.
Heads Up
It’s a big boat (up to about 98 passengers), so it isn’t an intimate trip, and you will get some spray. Marina construction also means you should arrive 45 minutes before departure.
