Jenna, Sammy and I had an amazing day at the Florida Aquarium and take part in their Summer is in the water campaign which features a wild dolphin cruise and outdoor activities such as a splash pad for the kiddos and more. We went aboard the Bay Spirit II which took us out into the bay and we did see a few dolphins which is always a cool experience. The cruise was very relaxing and we got to check out the beautiful Tampa skyline from the water. After the we finished our dolphin cruise we went and explored inside the aquarium at the Wetlands Trail, where you can see alligators and river otters up close, the Bays and Beaches exhibit, which features sea turtles and stingrays, and the Coral Reef exhibit, which has a stunning collection of tropical fish and coral.
In addition to the exhibits, the Florida Aquarium offers a variety of educational programs and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. You can touch stingrays and horseshoe crabs at the outdoor touch tank, watch a live dive show, or even go on a behind-the-scenes tour to see how the aquarium operates.
