Destin Seafood Festival 2027: Dates, Food & Tips

One of the Panhandle’s best free fall weekends is back — the Destin Seafood Festival 2026 returns to the Destin Harbor Boardwalk on September 25–27, kicking off the legendary month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo in style. This free, family-friendly festival lines the harbor with fresh Gulf seafood, local arts and crafts vendors, and live music set against one of the most picturesque waterfront backdrops in all of Florida. Shrimp, crab, oysters, and fish served right on the water — this is exactly what Gulf Coast fall is supposed to feel like.
The Destin Seafood Festival has a well-earned reputation for doing one thing extremely well. Fresh Gulf seafood at local prices, on the harbor, with the charter fleet as your backdrop. It’s the unofficial kickoff to fall in the Panhandle and a tradition that draws visitors from across the Southeast year after year.
Event Schedule
September 25, 2026 (Friday) — Festival opens, live music, seafood vendors
September 26, 2026 (Saturday) — Full day, peak attendance, arts and crafts
September 27, 2026 (Sunday) — Final day, continued music and food
Saturday draws the largest crowds. Arrive early for the best vendor selection and to beat the parking rush. Festival hours vary by day — check the official Destin Fishing Rodeo site for confirmed times closer to the event.

Admission & Access
